  • Todd Terry

    Attorney

    Attorney Todd A. Terry earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and his law degree at Marquette University. His practice at Hotvedt & Terry, LLC, concentrates in civil litigation, personal injury, construction law and family law. Mr. Terry also serves as the prosecuting attorney for the Village of Rochester, Village of Waterford, Town of Burlington, Town of Wheatland and Village of Twin Lakes. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Terry served as a police sergeant for the City of Racine Police Department. In addition to his role with the firm and his family involvement, Mr. Terry is a member of the Burlington Rotary Club and a founding member of the Burlington Demon Gridiron Club. Mr. Terry is further involved in numerous youth sports throughout the Burlington area.

  • John Hotvedt

    Attorney

    Attorney Hotvedt concentrates his practice in real estate, focusing on negotiating and closing complex commercial real estate and financing transactions, as well as residential transactions, zoning and land use matters, real estate development, condemnation/eminent domain, condominium law, negotiating and drafting commercial leases, and tax deferred (§1031) exchange transactions. Mr. Hotvedt’s practice also includes counseling clients regarding general business and corporate matters, such as business planning, preparation of buy/sell and partnership agreements, entity formation, employment agreements, asset purchase agreements and other business transactions. He also advises his clients in matters of estate planning, working within the law to plan for and mitigate estate and gift tax ramifications for his clients. Attorney Hotvedt is also active in his local community. He formerly served as a the President of the City of Burlington Board of Zoning Appeals, is a member of the Burlington Chapter of Kiwanis International, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the City of Burlington Chamber of Commerce, as a member of the City of Burlington Municipal Airport Committee and as President of the City of Burlington Police and Fire Commission. Attorney Hotvedt is a member of the Racine County Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin. He received his undergraduate degree from Viterbo University in 1997 and his law degree from Marquette University Law School in 2001.
